Bailey Unicorn safe and secure

AL-KO ATC

Built with practicality in mind the limited edition Unicorn range will be supplied with the latest safety and security equipment to ensure that the caravan will remain both safe on the road and secure on site.

As with all current Alu-Tech ranges Unicorn will include the AL-KO ATC Trailer Control system as standard specification; which when combined with the existing AL-KO AKS 3004 stabiliser and AL-KO shock absorbers will facilitate trouble-free towing.

The ATC operates in a similar to the ESP systems in cars, in that it permanently controls the driving behaviour of the caravan. Through the use of lateral acceleration sensors the ATC control electronics are able to detect sideways movements and will apply the caravan brakes accordingly to ensure that the towing outfit returns to a stable driving state again.

It should be remembered that whilst the AL-KO ATC Trailer Control system and the AL-KO AKS Stabiliser provide passive and active stability control to provide you with additional peace of mind, there is no substitute for driving a correctly loaded and well matched towing outfit in a safe manner.

Unicorn is also supplied with a market leading security package featuring a TRACKER Monitor Stolen Caravan Recovery system, including the first twelve months subscription fee, a TRACKER intruder alarm and an AL-KO Secure portable wheel lock (two with twin axle models). All these components have a proven track record of performance in this field that will not only help protect your investment but the installation of which will also result in discounted insurance premiums from certain companies.

TRACKER Monitor was the first recovery system developed specifically for caravans and has been included as standard specification in top of the range Bailey products for the past four years. The latest generation of this product, now Thatcham TQA approved, features an upgraded motion sensor for increased effectiveness and has lower power consumption levels leading to a longer battery life.
