Swift Caravan shapes of the future
Swift Caravans has announced a complete redesign of some of its major touring caravan ranges. Swift Group has invested in the latest automotive 3D design software and their designers have set about the task of producing a stunning and totally new exterior and this coupled with advanced interior styling is expected to make the new range appealing to anyone considering a new caravan purchase.
Nick Page Swift Group’s Commercial Director said “One look and you will see that the new ranges are the biggest advance forward in touring design for over a decade. Combined with proven construction methods and European Whole Vehicle Type Approval customers can be reassured that not only are they getting a stunning caravan, it is also built to last.”
Just a hint of a dig at Bailey’s new Alu-Tech construction method there. Perhaps Bailey have worried other major caravan manufacturers into making significant improvements but it sounds like Swift are committed to existing proven construction methods rather than trying to follow Bailey down the body shell construction innovation route. This could be a good move, the core caravan market is fairly conservative.
The first public viewing of the new Swift Group Caravans will be at the The Caravan Extravaganza (Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th September at The Lawns, Harland Way, Cottingham, East Yorkshire HU16 5SQ
Swift plan to show a more extensive range at the International Caravan and Motorhome show at the NEC, Birmingham from 12th to 17th October 2010.
