You Can Caravan Show
The ‘You Can Caravan Show’ will run from Friday March 16th until Monday March 18th 2012 at the Teesside Caravans complex in Thornaby.
The event will have FREE admission and FREE onsite parking. It will be the first event of its kind in the North East, which traditionally has not been well catered for, with caravanners having to travel to the NEC, Birmingham or Excel, London to be able to experience this all in one place. It is hoped this will be an annual event providing families with a one stop place to experience everything to do with caravan or motorhome holidays.
There really is something for everyone, free demonstrations including how to erect awnings, the ease of using motor movers, quick set up and pack away tips plus question and answer sessions from a team of experts, will run throughout the four day period to help take out some of the perceived complications of caravanning. A full programme of events will be posted on the website.
Lisa Pluves, Teesside Caravans’ General Manager said “Some people have a misguided preconception of caravan holidays, mainly based on childhood recollection from years ago. These days’ caravans are slick and luxurious, equipped with all modern amenities such as built in televisions, surround sound, fixed bed units, designer interiors, walk in showers, microwaves – a real home from home. We hope to encourage people to come along with an open mind, speak to the manufacturers face to face, view the models on display and realise what they are missing.”

Designed as a family day out, the event will be packed with things to do and see, including competitions, free face painting for the children, plus any child that appears in fancy dress will receive a free goody bag.
Teesside Caravans endeavour to help people see the numerous benefits of caravan holidays, locate the right model and size for their requirements, make the purchasing process as easy as possible and provide an after-care service second to none. Also unveiled over the weekend will be Teesside Caravans’ new canopy extension, the existing, indoor, heated showroom which currently houses over 50 caravans is already the largest in England. Outside the further display of over 50, superbly presented, pre owned tourers is being extended and will have a new hard canopy, with covered walkways and contemporary sales suite. Customers can therefore keep warm whilst browsing in comfort.
Local children’s hospice Zoe’s Place will also be in attendance hoping to raise money for the charity with a tombola and sale of merchandise.
Teesside Caravans has, in a very short space of time firmly established itself alongside much better known dealers; it has achieved this by being innovative, keeping in touch with customers and the use of FaceBook and Twitter to engage.
